The table is 14.3125 inches tall however this includes the rim around the table top. The height of the table to the table top is 12.3125 inches. The metal ring and legs are 0.5625 of an inch wide. The tabletop is black. The rim around it is stained dark brown. On the top of the rim there are 6 areas where the stain is void and it is a beige colored.
Total assembly time was 14 minutes and 57 seconds. There is one extra of each of the 3 different screw types. The included Allen wrench is all of the tools that are needed. To get the bottom ring on the legs do not tighten the legs all the way down until the bottom ring is in place otherwise the ring's holes won't line up with the leg holes. The largest holes on the ring are used to attach to the leg holes. I used a removable high strength thread locker [B07R6B87S5] on each screw prior to tightening.
This is an extremely short table and requires bending over to use from a chair or low platform bed, which is a disadvantage. Therefore, the functionality is poor, having to bend down constantly to get anything on or off of the table. My folding stool is taller than this table. This table is more suitable for children's chairs, low to the ground beach chairs that are only a few inches off of the ground, bean bags, or used as a plant stand.
